Tip #2

 In this 2nd Tip for this year, your Casablanca Expert shows you why and how to de-interlace your video.  This is very important if you plan to share your video/s on-line (YouTube, Vimeo, Facebook, your website, etc).  This tip is fully compatible with both Smart Edit and Bogart Casablanca editors. Your Casablanca Expert demonstrates the four (4) functions/variables found in the 'Control Image' effect. Tip #8
Your Casablanca Expert shows you how to create titles with more than one color (style) on the same line.  In the standard Casablanca titler we can apply only one style/color to a line of text, but there is a work-around by using the Title Boxes and Chet shows you how - click here to view this short lesson.

Chet shows ideas for showcasing a cool video clip from an athlete (could also highlight a cool nature clip). In this 10th Tip Chet shares thoughts about selecting the proper color/s for your video project titles.
In addition to using outline and shadow he uses the 'Color Wheel' for part of the selection process- and explains/demonstrates what opposite colors are and how they relate to titles. You can view this 6-minute video here.

Chet shows the different methods for adjusting audio samples in the Audio Mix Menu, with the variations between Bogart and SmartEdit Operating Systems.  This pertains to not only volume adjustments but addingspecific audio effects.

In this 12th Tip for this season, Chet shows a suggested application for using PIP Studio/PIP Studio 2 to create a layered effect that works well as an introduction or sophisticated element in your video projects.  NOTE: This is more of an intermediate/advanced lesson as Chet covers a lot in the 10-minute video (but you can view again & again to get the concepts).
This lesson is compatible with both Bogart and SmartEdit Operating Systems, but does require the add-on software PIP Studio (for SmartEdit) or PIP Studio 2 (for Bogart editors)
