The Bogart v7 Operating System requires 2GB RAM (or system memory) to run. But the S4000, S4000PRO, and the S2000 Casablacna editors were built with 1GB RAM (1024MB to be precise). That was all that was required for the earlier Bogart OS versions.

If you wish to take advantage of the functions and features in the Bogart v7 OS you will need to upgrade the RAM if you have one of these earlier Bogart editors.  The company (Macrosystem Americas) recommends this is only done by their qualified and trained service representative - Chuck Owens at Aspect Video Inc in West Palm Beach Florida (USA).

The current price for this upgrade is $149.00 for the 2GB Ram upgrade which includes parts and labor.  Shipping is additional and is based on your location and service level (how quickly you want the delivery). Chuck can also perform other services while in the shop like upgrade your software, Hard Drive, DVD and Blue-Ray Burners.
